INVITATION to provide OPENING REMARKS/KEYNOTE

For the work you do on behalf of student-athletes, I would like to invite you to consider sharing 15 minutes of your time to speak with sports parents at the inaugural Outside The Locker Room (OTL) virtual conference, taking place September 18-19, 2024.

We have two-time slots for a keynote address:

A) Wednesday, September 18th | Time: 9:00 AM – 9:15 AM EST | Platform: Zoom

-or-
B) Thursday, September 19th | Time: 9:00 AM – 9:15 AM EST | Platform: Zoom

We are thankful to our growing number of Confirmed Panelists, including the parents of Shaquille O'Neal, Andre Iguodala and Larry Johnson. Also joining our esteemed panels are: Boston College Head Coach, Earl Grant, Dr. Chris Parker, NJCAA President, members of the Kevin Love Fund, and other youth sports industry leaders, including referees. There is also a Player's Chat where we will hear directly from high school and college student-athletes on how parents can best support them.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between parents and sport professionals. As a sports parent who has been in the trenches these past ten years I have witnessed firsthand that many are losing sight of what is best "for the kids." Coaches and referees are frustrated at parents--too many parents are confused and do not "trust the process."  The OTL seeks to bridge the gap between parents and sports professionals through targeted conference sessions and resources for the expected 1,000 parents who will participate

Will you consider joining us? Help us get the word out?
If yes, please contact me at (301) 404-7231
or via email (ceo@simonejoye.com), as well as with any questions you may have.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Kind Regards,

About OTL

Outside the Locker Room (OTL) is a virtual conference tailored to support parents of student athletes. Over two days, via Zoom, participants will engage in discussions and gain knowledge from the experiences of other sports parents, coaches, student athletes, and leaders in the sports industry. The event was inspired by Simone Joye's insightful book "The Parent's Section: Outside The Locker Room" and her ten-year journey helping her son, Chad Venning, from the grassroots level to the A10 conference and playing in graduate school at Boston College beginning in the fall.
